Free, practical energy support for households in Norwich
Struggling with energy bills, heating your home, understanding your meter, or knowing where to get help?
The Norwich Energy Project offers friendly, hands-on support to help vulnerable households reduce energy costs, use energy more efficiently, and feel more confident managing bills.

How we can help
One-to-one energy advice
Personalised advice to help you understand your bills, use smart meters, reduce energy use, explore better tariffs, and take practical steps to lower costs.
Help with energy debt and suppliers
We can support you to understand arrears, speak with energy companies, look at payment plans, and access wider help where energy costs are causing financial pressure.
Workshops and community sessions
Workshops on topics such as cooking on a budget, understanding bills, using smart meters, and making simple changes at home to save energy.
Wider wraparound support
Energy problems are often linked to wider issues such as benefits, debt, housing, health or isolation. All clients will have access to the wider support available at The Baseline Centre.
Local energy support hub
As the project develops, this page will also bring together information about local energy advice, events, services and referral routes across Norwich, helping residents find the right support more easily.
We will also share energy-saving tips and information through Future Radio, through dedicated programming to broadcast tips and skills to the community.
